At Evo Performance Rehab, we believe in a better way to recover from pain and dysfunction. We offer neurological soft tissue therapy, an innovative therapy designed to help you get back on your feet in the most efficient way possible. Our specialized technology allows us to test the brain-muscle relationship, helping us pinpoint the source of the problem and develop a treatment plan to get you feeling better in no time.

In 2013, we learned about this therapy system from the founders at EVO UltraFit. We collaborated with them to host events and start groups dedicated to improving efficiency and performance with young athletes. Over time, we expanded further into rehabilitation which was always our primary passion.
Our team has been providing top-quality rehabilitation services for over 10 years. We are proud to have been part of many people's journeys, working with various populations. We take the time to get to know you, so we can create an individualized plan to help you reach your goals.
Growing up in the northern suburbs of Minnesota, I was always passionate about sports and had planned on making a career out of football. Unfortunately, an early shoulder injury changed my plans, and I eventually found my way into the track and field throwing arena.
I was fortunate to have mentors who guided me to a high level of competition in college, and I was an integral part of five Big 10 Championship teams and qualified for NCAA regionals. I truly enjoyed the combination of technique and strength needed for throwing.
Initially, I enrolled in a kinesiology program to become a physical therapist, but after shadowing for many hours in physical therapy clinics, I felt that my calling lay elsewhere.
After I graduated with a kinesiology degree and became certified in strength and conditioning, I had the privilege to be mentored by Jay Schroeder, the founder of EVO UltraFit and inventor of the ARPWave system, alongside his collaborator, Dennis Thompson.
It was an incredibly enlightening experience to work with various ages and injury cases, as well as to go through therapeutic processes myself and with my better half. Together, we have effectively resolved our issues and those of our clients.
When I was first introduced to the neurological soft tissue therapy system and technology, I struggled with agonizing knee pain from intense weightlifting at the University of Minnesota. An MRI was done on my right knee to see if surgery was needed since I could not squat or sit on my haunches without suffering.
However, after undergoing the neurological search process and therapy, I experienced a total transformation. This enabled me to become more flexible and stronger, and I could train at a higher level without needing as much volume.
At the same time, I kept competing in strongman competitions. I attribute the neurological soft tissue therapy system to allowing me to do this for more than 10 years without any injuries.
Born and raised in the tranquil Oak Grove, MN, I now reside in Ramsey, MN, with my wife Emma and our twin sons, Silas and Augustine. Beyond my professional life, I cherish the time spent in nature, whether it's navigating the woods with a bow or relaxing by the water with a fishing rod.
My journey into neurotherapy was sparked by a personal challenge. In 2018, while deadlifting a mere 135 pounds, I sustained a serious injury to multiple disks in my lower back. This incident set me on a path of exploring various treatments, none of which provided lasting relief.
My breakthrough came with Evo Performance Rehab, where just a few sessions revolutionized my recovery. This experience not only allowed me to return to my regular activities but also to achieve the remarkable feat of deadlifting 500 pounds without pain.
One of my most notable client success stories involves a post-meniscectomy patient. She came to me after struggling with pain, muscle atrophy, and limited range of motion, despite months of physical therapy. Under my guidance, she experienced a rapid transformation.
My ethos as a Neuro-Therapy coach extends beyond mere pain relief. It is about unlocking the hidden potential within each individual, guiding them towards achieving their highest goals. My aim is to show every person that they can be fast, strong, and resilient, empowering them to accomplish things they never thought possible.
Each Neuro-Therapy process begins with a free phone consultation, followed by an in-clinic or virtual evaluation treatment session.
We walk you through the Neuro-Therapy process so you can see the significant differences that even one session can make.
This helps us find the best treatment plan for your lasting success.
